Cytidine 5'-monophosphate Disodium Salt is one form of the four kinds of nucleotides which 5’-Nucleotides are produced through the hydrolytic reaction from Ribonucleic acid(RNA) as raw material by enzymatic catalysis.

Function

Cytidine 5 '-monophosphate and cytidine 5' -monophosphate disodium salt have high biological activity, which can enhance the immune function of the body, regulate the balance of overall nutrition and metabolism of the body, promote the growth and development of the body, and have an auxiliary anti-tumor biological regulation effect. As intermediates of nucleic acid series drug, health food and biochemical reagents. It is used to produce cytidine triphosphate and citicoline sodium as brain trauma drug and brain comatose drug.

In the food field, it is expanded to use for food additive which can increase immunity function from antistaling agent previously.

1) Cytidine 5-monophosphate is used as Infant milk powder food additives to produce maternal emulsified milk close to human milk can enhance the infant's resistance to bacterial diseases.

 2) Cytidine 5-monophosphate is used as raw material intermediates for the production of nucleotide drugs and food additives.
