Hydroxypropyl beta cyclodextrin: Hydroxypropyl betadex are purified polydisperse products resulting from the controlled reaction of propylene oxide and native beta-cyclodextrin. Hydroxypropyl beta cyclodextrin is itself very soluble in water (greater than 500 mg/ml at room temperature compared to 18 mg/ml for beta-cyclodextrin), and is used for molecular encapsulation of a variety of sparingly water compounds to enhance the aqueous solubility of the encapsulated compound.

Hydroxypropyl Beta Cyclodextrin (HPBCD) is an ideal injectable solubilizer and pharmaceutical excipient. the main functions: olubilizing poorly soluble drugs, adjust or control the release rate of the drug to reduce the toxic and side effects of the drug.

1) In food manufacturing
Hydroxypropyl Beta Cyclodextrin  is mainly used to eliminate peculiar smell, improve the stability of flavor essence and pigment, enhance emulsification ability and moisture-proof ability.Improving the taste of food is a good stabilizer and charming agent for pharmaceutical food and cosmetics manufacturing industry.

2) In medicine
Hydroxypropyl Beta Cyclodextrin can improve the solubility and bioavailability of drugs, increase the efficacy or decrease the dosage of drugs, adjust or control the release rate of drugs, reduce the toxic and side effects of drugs, and enhance the stability of drugs. It is mainly used in oral liquid with the highest safety.
