R-(+)-Alpha Lipoic Acid Sodium (also known as r-alpha lipoic acid sodium salt) is one of the good fatty acids produced in every one of our cells. R Alpha Lipoic Acid is an organosulfur compound derived from octanoic acid. which is made in animals normally, and is essential for aerobic metabolism. It appearance is light yellow powder, almost odorless, easily soluble in benzene, ethanol, ethyl ether, chloroform and other organic solvents, almost insoluble in water. it is a coenzyme found in mitochondria, similar to vitamins, which eliminates free radicals that cause accelerated aging and disease.
