PQQ, name Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Acid, the appearance is reddish orange to reddish brown fine powder. PQQ is a novel water-soluble vitamin, called the fourteenth vitamins. it is an oxidoreductase-based, anionic, quinone substance that has been established as an essential nutrient in mammals.

PQQ is a small quinone molecule which is a potent antioxidant that removes superoxide and peroxinitrite, capable of reducing the oxidants (an antioxidant effect) that then being recycled by glutathione back into an active form.
